EXPEDITION SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER DAY4

AFTER LASTNIGHTS LATENIGHT, WHAT DO WE ALL GET TO WAKE UP TO, TODAY?
RAIN. GOOD OLD VANCOUVER. THANK GOD MOST OF THE GUYS COULD PROBLY USE A DAY OFF THE BOARD TO RECOOP THEIR BODIES FOR THE MISSIONS THAT LIE AHEAD THIS WEEK. SO KEEP CHECKING BACK!

EXPEDITION SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER DAY 3

Sunday began with another super fun session at the brand new bellevue plaza. Being today it was our last day in Seattle, we had to hit it one last time.  After that Josh Anderson from manik skateboards took us to the University of Washington for the day. Picture a huge courtyard with tonnes and tonnes of smooth brick flat, 4 perfect manny pads and girls etc. needles to say, things went well, everyone got tricks before the cops showed up and we had to go for a little run around the block.

Everyone warming up on some of the smoothest brick you could imagine

Kelly hart doing his thing with the manny pads
We all ended up at this new spot in Seattle before the university. Most of just chilled, while some worked on the ledges a bit, and Freddy a dude from florida that we have been skating with ollied a super gnarly gap here.

After the long day, we finally got back on the road headed for Vancouver. Being as Canadian as we are, Spencer and Dustin just had to get a couple more tall cans and a 12 pack that cost less than the fast food we had after. Needless to say we were glad we did this as the Expedition team got stuck in the border and hauled in. So what do we do, head to the nearest parking lot to have a couple of these cold cheap beverages while we waited for them to clear customs. Unfortunately Eric, the filmer, wasn't being allowed into the country and had to be sent home. Everyone felt super bad about that, but what do you do when you gotta get shit done.
Everyone finally got these guys into their hotel rooms by 2:30 in the morning.
Longest day so far.
check back to see what happens throughout the rest of the week before the "Skate with the Expedition team at the plaza" happens.

exp seattle to vancouver day 2

Day 2 felt like summer has actually finally arrived for us skateboarders. Seattle was scorching hot and trying to skate in this heat was no easy task, except for Spencer and walker though. Everyone else ended up with sunburns soaked t shirts and probly a touch of sunstroke, but that didnt stop anyone for getting their tricks na havin fun
Dustin, chany, kelly hart and Ian Twa chillin at the spot while Spenny gets his trick

Welsh kickin it in the van while Dustin, Walker and Ian work on their sunburns while getting their tricks
After an extra long day of sun and skating, the crew chills in the canadians room drinking a few of America's tasty beverages

EXPEDITION SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER

Day 1 with Expedition

It's the long weekend here in B.C. Dustin Montie, Spencer Hamilton, Ian Twa and filmer Jarvis Nigelsky headed south to Bellevue Washington for a best trick contest at a new skate plaza.

The border line up was so long Spence and Twa fell asleep in the back of the van.

The park is sick! Smooth ground, fun ledges, rails and a down manny pad!

Dustin poppin a fake heelflip down the little double set.

Spencer comes up and wins the best trick on the down manny pad!!!! the main part of the trip was to come down to meet up with the expedition team before the come up to vancouver, so we are all going to get out and do some street skating in and around Seattle for the next 2 days before heading to vancouver.
keep checkin back for more updates within the next day or so........

Justin was spotted during the Wam at the plaza contest last summer destroying the bowl contest already skating Anti-hero boards and t's which helped to make the decision very easy to put him on the team.He is only 17 years old and already skates like a vet, which earned him 3rd place in the wam at the plaza bowl contest. Keep your eyes peeled for the newcomer as he is young and full of motivation, its only a matter of time before everyone out there starts seeing alot of this guy.

Hurry up and go get this issue!
Kevin Lowry (blueprint) has put alot of work on getting out shooting photos and filming. As he is in Europe right now skating with the blueprint team! Things are starting to pay off with his work ethic as he had a photo in the new Concrete Skateboarding magazine and now in the same month pulls out a full pager in the newest SBC spring 08 photo section! We'd have to say he is one of the hardest working dudes out there on a board!

Tj Rogers (blueprint) Has also pulled through in back to back coverage this month with a full page canadian blueprint add with some serious jumps in there, but you're gonna have to go pick up the issue to see this one!

And S&J's west team manager and rider Dustin Montie (dgk, gold, venture) has pulled through a dry spell of published photos with a kickflip at one of "Canada's top 10 iconic spots"!

Big Things coming!

Corey may not be the easiest guy to look at, but when you are sitting on top of Transworlds exposure meter you can dress however you want as well. Not to mention the love that he gets from stores who sell his new sponsors glasses. HOVEN is killing it right now, and this is just the beginning! Join the revolution......www.hovenvision.com It's worth checking it out.

NYC Loves HOVEN!

We've been hearing alot of incredible things about Hoven Eyewear, and for good reason. The glasses are amazing, and the team of riders they have is stellar! It might take a while to break through the NEW brand ignorance, so let me go on record as saying this "Hoven is: THE NEXT" POZZY! Even NYC streets are lovin it!
