SATURDAY DEC 29TH VANCOUVER!!!
Hey there,I thought I would let you know about a DOUBLE FEATURE VIDEO PARTY that is going on this holiday season. If you are looking for something cheap and fun to do over the holidays then come to this VIDEO PARTY.We are featuring 2 new skateboard videos:REPUBLIC is based from Montreal from Jason Auger, but has abunch of Vancouver footy from Jai Ball, Gab Ekoe, Ryan Bonnell and Spencer Hamilton. The video was released free in the latest SBC Magazine, but I felt that we need to have a formal wrap up party here in the west coast. If you have or haven't seen it already come out anyways to show support. Republic is an artistic video with some damn good Canadian skating from both sides of the coasts.
L.A. CITYSCAPE Vol. 1 is based from Los Angeles from Josh Hill. There is a heavy roster of names in this video like Stevie Williams, P-Rod, Guy Mariano, Gino Iannuchi, Ronson Lambert and many others. There is also a mini part from Vancouver's most beloved/behatred skater, Dustin Montie. This video is gonna be tight with lots of tech tricks, stimulating graphics and a fresh hip-hop soundtrack. Cityscape will give you a new taste bud for skateboarding.
This video party is happening at The Sweatshop's new location at 1947 E. HastingsVancouver. We got cheap drinks to go along with those cheap thrills. Come out on Saturday night December 29th for a warm up for New Years Eve. You may not know this name right now, but give it a hot minute and you will. Glencoe Hogle the third not only has the raddest name in the game, but one of the best styles and attention to detail. This dude skates things that most people don't even look at and does it with style! Next time you see him on the streets or at a park ask him about the "barrie square ollie" and then maybe bow in front of him!!! Jokes......he wouldn't like that!

The new Concrete Skateboarding is in!!!!
And yet again we have found a couple of our boys that have found their way on to the fine pages of this magazine.
First up is Spencer Hamilton (Expedition) doing it like he does best with a huge fakie flip down one of Vancouvers newest jumping spots:
Kevin Lowry (Blueprint) is harder working than most people out there. Traveling around Canada and Europe skating more than most people his age, he has been givin a 6 page interview in this issue for his efforts and skill. GOOOOOD job KEV!
